Requirements for Riders

 

  1. Smaller private and large club event riders are required to wear proper attire and possess a rider’s license.  Proper attire is as follows:
    • Helmets should be DOT, closed face, manufactured in 2000 or newer.
    • Riding suits should be one piece, Leather or Kevlar.  If it is a two piece (jacket and pants) it should zip up completely or snap together.  A rider’s back protector worn under the suit is preferred but not required for private groups.
    • The gloves and boots should be leather and fit to cover complete areas of the hands and feet.  The boots should be leather and cover the ankles as well.
  2. Any amateur riders are required to ride under the supervision of an experienced rider or instructor.  If a rider is not experienced they are required to notify the registrar’s office and the Lead Control Personnel before entering the track.
  3. All private and club events are required to have the proper number of corner workers and safety crew.  The corner workers may be provided by GingerMan or an approved outside source.  The safety crew (Ambulance and Fire Rescue) is available through GingerMan or can be hired by an outside source.  All rider groups are required to have a skilled Fire/Rescue/Ambulance Team and a Tow Truck.
  4. All details of a private group need to be approved by the track manager before the event.
