PCA Chicago Region DE Weekend at GingerMan Raceway
The Chicago Region invites you to join us for our 15th annual Drivers Education weekend at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan on Saturday, July 31st and Sunday, August 1st.Event registration is open to all PCA members, as well as non-members with track driving experience and an appropriate sports or high performance car that meets Chicago Region safety requirements. DE participants will be grouped based on experience, driving ability, and the type of car they drive.Novice drivers are welcome to attend and will be assigned to work with an experienced PCA instructor for the weekend. However, please note that instructor availability for this event is limited, therefore novices will be accepted on a first come – first served basis with PCA members given priority over non-PCA members. We will once again be offering a non-mandatory orientation session on Friday evening, July 30th in the track’s pavilion. Although this one hour session is designed for novice and first-time GingerMan drivers, anyone is welcome to attend. It will be hosted by PCA Chicago Region driving instructors who will review the track layout in detail and present a chalk talk to address the proper driving line, braking points, and other important information related to the weekend’s event. If you are planning to drive GingerMan for the first time, or you are an intermediate driver looking to increase your knowledge of this challenging track, we encourage you to attend. Pre-registration for the orientation session is not required and additional details will be made available at onsite check in.

There is strictly NO RACING in an open track event, other major organizations exist for such purposes.
