During the season our hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
By the end of May the sun sets at approximately 9:15, in June it stays light until 9:30, by the end of July the sunset is at 9:00, then in August the sun goes down about 8:20 and at the end of the month and into September we have the sun set at about 7:30 at the end of September. The end of October brings our sunset time to about 6:40, so you can get an idea of the daylight hours.
We have over 45 groups coming so far. Some of our larger groups are PCA, Windy City BMW, NESBA, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Sportbike Track Time, and SCCA to name a few.
Most of the racers will run in the rain. In the event of an electrical storm though, we would have to stop the race, and get our corner workers off the track.
No. Ride alongs and passengers are not allowed during any event other than track touring.
Sports cars with proper safety equipment are allowed. Family sedans and SUV’s are not allowed.
Yes. You must purchase motorsport insurance for your event.
You need to have experience before you can race at Gingerman. We have CGI driving school here that can help you get started in the racing world. And there are a number of clubs that sponsor driver’s ed. Days.
Yes, camping is available on site, in designated areas. It’s $5 per night per person. You can ask for a camp site when you register.
Campfires are permitted in designated areas.
We do allow you to bring your dog, but you must keep it leashed at all times and you must clean up after it.
Anyone with prior track experience is invited to come.
